Definition/Context (“What”) |
The Project Execution Plan sets out arrangements for carrying out all aspects of the project during the Execute phase. It addresses how the project intents to mitigate the project specific risk that prevent meeting the defined execution targets and KPI’s. As a minimum the PEP shall cover the following Project Standard Controls:
The Project Execution Plan is typically developed towards the end of the Define phase. |
Purpose/Intent (“Why”) | The purpose of the PEP is to capture the decisions and planning for all aspects of how the project will be executed and to communicate this information to all members of the project team and stakeholders. It forms key input to the project estimates and schedules. |
