Control: 4.D.9 Risk Based Verification Strategy Developed
Title | Description |
Context |
Without taking a risk-based approach the verification strategy can be ineffective and/or lack focus on critical/high risk equipment, bulks and materials. This can lead to project resources being over-stretched due to a lack of focus and/or poor control on the quality of critical components, thereby impacting the ability of the project to deliver to promise. |
Activity |
Develop a verification strategy that drives risk based verification and ensures that all critical equipment and/or materials have been manufactured in accordance with applicable specifications. |
Purpose |
To ensure the number of quality related non-conformities from suppliers are minimised and/or are discovered and addressed as early as possible. Focus inspection activities on key suppliers and key critical equipment that have the highest potential impact on project delivery and process safety. |
