Control: 3.S.6 Concept is Doable
Title | Description |
Context |
The single concept proposed in the Select phase should be doable. Technically sound concepts can fail in later phases if their do-ability has not been adequately addressed. Do-ability can include the execution strategy, the commercial construct and meeting promises made to key stakeholders. Assumptions linked to income, financing, technology and execution strategy shall be tested and support shown by relevant internal and external stakeholders. |
Activity |
Demonstrate that the proposed concept is do-able based on facts covering the execution strategy, commercial construct and agreements with stakeholders and not based on assumptions. |
Purpose |
To avoid critical execution issues and costs being missed that would affect the concept selection. |
