Control: 1.A.1.N HSSE & SP Risks known and Mitigated For Data Gathering
Title |
Description |
Context |
The availability of physical data underpins quality decisions made during feasibility and is one of the elements of Front-End Loading (FEL). Data can be subsurface/surface related and could be acquired off- and/or onshore. Examples of data acquisition activities include (land/soil) surveys, taking soil samples, on or offshore coring, drilling acquisition wells, Metocean data for Climate Adaptation etc. Acquiring critical data needs to be carefully planned for and executed in a safe manner. |
Activity |
Once the physical data that needs to be acquired is defined; identify and assess HSSE & SP hazards and risks, involving relevant disciplines and functional experts (technical and non-technical). Note: This activity does not address project execution risks in future phases but is specific to execution of early data gathering activities. |
Purpose |
To identify, assess and manage the potential HSSE & SP hazards and risks related to early data gathering activities. |
